Role Overview:

The Account & Import-Export Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, as well as overseeing and coordinating documentation and compliance requirements for import and export operations. The role requires strong coordination skills between internal teams, banks, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure seamless trade operations.

Key Responsibilities:Accounts:

Maintain daily financial transactions in accounting software.
Prepare and reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and supplier/customer ledgers.
Generate VAT reports and assist in monthly/quarterly VAT filing.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in payroll preparation and statutory payments.
Support in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Import & Export:

Prepare and manage LC (Letter of Credit), TR (Trust Receipt), and shipping documents.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers for timely clearance and delivery.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import/export laws.
Track shipment schedules and communicate with suppliers/customers.
Maintain import/export records, BOE (Bill of Entry), and delivery confirmations.
Assist in sourcing and negotiating rates with logistics providers.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and import-export documentation.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems like Odoo/SAP).
Good knowledge of UAE VAT laws and customs regulations.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with good time management.
