We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative functions, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, data entry, and supply chain management, along with the ability to navigate HMRC regulations and utilise transportation management systems.

Duties

Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
Assist in managing logistics operations, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
Support lead generation activities to enhance sales opportunities.
Utilise software tools for efficent UK, Irish clearances.
TSS entry.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes within the supply chain.
Maintain organised documentation for all transactions and communications related to logistics and sales activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Customs Clearance, clerical or administrative role, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment.
Flexibility due to clearances and export trailers
Familiarity with HMRC regulations is required.
Strong skills in data entry and proficiency in relevant software applications.
Experience with transportation management systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
