The Customs Brokerage team provide an exceptional level of service to it's customers as a value added service for goods travelling on the Jordon Transport network, as well as on a Brokerage Only basis.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customs Operator at Jordon Freight in Felixstowe. The Customs Operator will be responsible for submitting customs declarations in a timely manner, and proactively supporting colleagues to the benefit of the company and/or it's customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing of Customs declarations
• Inputting costs & charges into the system
• Ensuring any detains or queries are logged and followed through to completion
• Support Customers and colleagues with Customs requirements and technical information
• Work closely with EU Customs Partners to provide an end to end service

Qualifications

• Experience in Customs Clearance submitted via CDS
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with customs documentation and procedures
• Knowledge of import/export laws and regulations
