Position Overview:
We are seeking a Trading Assistant to support trade execution, risk management, and reconciliation processes. This role will involve working closely with front-office teams and ensuring accurate trade processing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Support: Process trade allocations, confirmations, and settlements.
Risk Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Reconciliation: Reconcile positions and cash balances across systems.
Reporting: Generate operational reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Collaboration: Work closely with trading desks, operations, and risk teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in middle office or operations in asset management.
Knowledge of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives).
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
