Our company is hiring a Customs Clearance Clerk to assist our customers with an efficient and top quality customs service. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing Import and Export entries by road, sea and air.
Schedule of work:
This position is intended to be 8 hour days for 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Various shifts.
Experience:
Must have 2 years of imports/exports knowledge inputting customs entries to HMRC systems (via a software package where appropriate), OR Irish Revenue systems (again via software where appropriate).
Responsibilities:
- Support customers with your knowledge of customs procedures in the UK and Ireland.
- Complete customs clearances by gathering the relevant data from clients and inputting it into our customs system
- Keep our in-house systems up to date by uploading the clearance documents and updating information
- Support customers with error rectification for customs clearances
