Job Title: Vice President of Operations

This executive-level role is designed for a results-oriented operations leader with a proven track record of driving process improvement, scaling infrastructure, and building high-performance teams. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strategic mindset, and operational expertise to help guide the organization through its next phase of growth.
Position Overview:
The Vice President of Operations will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and play a key leadership role in ensuring operational excellence across the organization. This individual will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, managing key performance metrics, and driving cross-functional alignment. The role is based in the Tampa metro area with a hybrid working schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Lead and oversee core operational functions, including supply chain, logistics, customer service, production, and facilities.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance service quality.
- Strategic Execution:
- Partner with the executive team to translate strategic goals into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
- Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams across multiple departments, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Technology & Systems:
- Support implementation and optimization of operational systems and technologies to improve scalability and data visibility.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
- Ensure operational functions comply with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles, ideally in a PE-backed or growth-stage environment.
- Demonstrated success in building scalable operational infrastructure in multi-site or service-oriented organizations.
- Proven track record of leading teams through transformation and change.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
- Based in the Tampa metro area or willing to relocate; must be able to work in-office 3 days per week.
