Position: International Trade Associate

Description:
A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified International Trade Associate with 4–8 years of experience to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission, along with broad experience across customs, trade remedies, and national security-related regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in antidumping, countervailing, and safeguard duty proceedings
- Advise on customs compliance and enforcement matters
- Handle regulatory issues involving export controls and sanctions (including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC)
- Counsel clients on CFIUS reviews and other national security compliance issues
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, advocacy briefs, and filings
Requirements:
- 4–8 years of legal experience in international trade, with focus on trade remedies and/or customs
- Admission to practice in Washington, DC
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
