We’re looking for a highly skilled
Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead and optimize our import and export compliance programs across multiple regions — including Asia, the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Based at our
Bloomington, MN headquarters, this individual contributor role is key to reducing business risk and ensuring full regulatory compliance. As our in-house subject matter expert, you’ll develop and manage strategic trade policies and processes that align with U.S. and international trade laws, playing a vital role in our global operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global trade compliance policies, procedures, and systems to support business objectives.
- Ensure import/export activities comply with U.S. and international regulations through internal controls, audits, and training.
- Oversee customs processes and manage post-entry issues (e.g., CF28/29s, PSCs, protests, mitigations).
- Serve as the subject matter expert on trade compliance, partnering with internal teams and external regulatory agencies (CBP, PGAs).
- Lead global export operations including AES filings, Denied Party Screening, and TSA compliance.
- Manage CTPAT compliance and supply chain security programs.
- Monitor regulatory updates, assess risk, and apply industry best practices.
- Maintain U.S. Customs Brokerage License and stay current on trade regulations.
- Manage ACE and CARM portal activities
- Classify new product and maintain parts database
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years’ experience in a role involving developing and managing global trade and compliance programs within the CPG, ideally food industry.
- Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a role involving developing and managing global trade and compliance programs in a corporate setting.
- Secure and maintain Customs Brokerage License.
Compensation And Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $81,750 to $136,250 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
