Are you a detail-oriented compliance expert with a passion for international trade regulations? Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation (YMMC) is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure the seamless movement of products in and out of our Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) while maintaining compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities
✅ FTZ Operations & Customs Compliance – Oversee daily product movement, ensuring accurate filings (214, 3461, 7501, 7512). ✅ Inventory Reconciliation – Monitor inventory discrepancies between PYMAC and OneSource systems, executing necessary adjustments. ✅ Audit & Security – Conduct routine audits of FTZ operations, ensuring compliance in customs filings, physical security, inventory control, and recordkeeping. ✅ Product Classification & Compliance – Analyze and classify products under HTS, ECCN, and COO guidelines. ✅ Process Optimization – Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in trade compliance processes. ✅ Regulatory Awareness – Stay up to date on local and international trade regulations, ensuring company-wide compliance. ✅ Reporting & Training – Prepare reports for U.S. Customs and the FTZ Board, support compliance training for operational personnel, and serve as a key resource for import/export inquiries. ✅ Integrated Compliance Adherence – Implement policies under ISO9001, ISO14001, C-TPAT, and FTZ regulations.
Qualifications
🔹 3+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs regulations, or FTZ management. 🔹 Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs processes, HTS classification, and ECCN. 🔹 Experience with compliance systems (PYMAC, OneSource) and inventory reconciliation. 🔹 Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 🔹 Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate compliance requirements effectively.
