Indirect Tax Consultant, the role:
- Deliver high-quality VAT consultancy and business advice to a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Prepare and file European VAT returns with precision and timeliness.
- Advise clients on VAT liabilities, payments, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liaise with tax authorities and support clients during audits and investigations.
- Stay ahead of VAT legislation and contribute to process improvements.
- Represent AVASK at events and webinars, and help onboard and mentor new team members.
Indirect Tax Consultant, the person:
Must-Haves:
- 2+ years of Irish VAT and Customs experience (qualified or partly qualified in law, accountancy, or finance would be advantage).
- Strong communication skills—confident in email, phone, and face-to-face interactions, clear message delivering skills.
- Organised, deadline-driven, and a natural multitasker.
- Team player with a proactive mindset.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience or interest in international e-commerce and digital platforms.
- Fluency in German or French would be an advantage
