Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Ocean Transportation Specialist, located in Dundalk. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of working with our existing teams to set up and develop an ocean freight department within our operation
The role will involve managing our existing ocean freight business and working with our local sales team and our group partners to further develop our ocean business.
Daily tasks include arranging import and export shipments, managing documentation, coordinating with global partners, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Skills in Freight Transportation and Freight Forwarding
- Experience with Ocean freight Import and Export procedures
- Customer Service skills, particularly in a transportation or logistics context
- Excellent organizational and documentation management skills
- Ability to work on-site in Dundalk
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex logistics
- Proficiency in using IT systems.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
