The Vacancy
We are seeking a strong multimodal Import Operator to join our Dublin team. You will manage import operations across sea, road & air freight, working closely with carriers, partners, and clients to deliver excellent service. This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day import operations for air, sea, and road freight.
- Liaise with clients, partners, and carriers to ensure smooth shipment handling.
- Accurately process shipments using Uniserve systems (One World / Multi Freight).
- Monitor shipments and report any issues or delays impacting customer deliveries.
- Deliver excellent customer service and manage client expectations.
- Support the wider operations team with departmental tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Mid-level experience - minimum 2 years experience in freight forwarding or import operations.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple shipments.
- Commercial awareness and attention to cost management.
- Professional, proactive, and a team player.
