Job Purpose:
Coordinate and facilitate various aspects of fleet operations, ensuring efficient vehicle management, maintenance, compliance with safety standards, overseeing outsourcing of fleet services, and managing the acquisition of new assets. Specifically, manage fuel-related activities, oversee the implementation of In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS), assist in coordinating daily fleet activities, and facilitate the procurement of new fleet assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate fuel procurement processes and manage supplier relationships.
- Monitor and track fuel consumption to optimize efficiency.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS).
- Monitor and analyze IVMS data to enhance driver safety and optimize vehicle usage.
- Coordinate daily fleet activities, including maintenance, repairs, and fuel management.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee the outsourcing of fleet services to external providers.
- Facilitate the procurement of new fleet assets.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to select suitable vehicles.
- Provide regular reports on fuel consumption, IVMS data, and fleet operations to support decision-making.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
