Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Airfreight Executive located in Dublin. The Airfreight Executive will manage and oversee airfreight logistics operations, ensuring accurate and efficient coordination of shipments for time-critical and temperature-sensitive deliveries. Responsibilities include monitoring shipment statuses, maintaining communication with clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating with airlines and carriers, and resolving operational challenges in real-time to meet service commitments.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or air cargo operations
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Knowledge of customs and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in utilizing logistics software and basic IT systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment
- Background in the healthcare or life science industry is advantageous
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
