Job Description
As an Air Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of goods through the air freight logistics channel. In this crucial role, you will coordinate various aspects of air cargo transportation, ensuring that shipments are handled efficiently and reach their destinations on time. You will work closely with airlines, customers, and custom brokers to guarantee compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with airlines and freight forwarders to ensure timely cargo delivery.

- Maintain and update records of all dispatched air freight transactions daily.
- Ensure compliance with international air transport regulations and safety procedures.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers to optimize cost efficiency for shipments.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to delays or loss of shipments promptly.
- Work collaboratively with customs brokers to expedite clearance processes.
- Analyze shipment options to provide cost-effective solutions for customers.
- Track and monitor shipments using digital logistics platforms for precise tracking.
- Support logistics team with special projects requiring analytical and logistical input.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service providers and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience in freight coordination or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in air freight documentation and transport management software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and partners.
- Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and import/export procedures.
