Job Description
As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting-edge construction projects. As a Logistics Administrator, you’ll be responsible for keeping internal records up to date, providing key information to employees, and liaising with external providers. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth delivery of logistics support to our project teams. Your responsibilities will include administrative duties preparing reports, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to the construction sector. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their skills on a pathway to furthering their knowledge and responsibilities and to grow and evolve within the organization
Skills and Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update internal logistics trackers for the relevant Construction Teams.
- Compile and issue reports to support the logistics functions and wider operational teams.
- Liaise with providers to resolve contract or invoice queries.
- Support site management teams with custom reporting when required.
- Assist with Stock Control of related Construction components in particular Electrical components.
The Person
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 2/3 years previous Logistics experience desired. Engineering/Construction exposure a distinct advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Word a must.
- Able to manage tasks independently while contributing as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and solution focused. Stock Control experience required.
- Relevant Qualification in a relevant Engineering/Supply Chain discipline.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, enabling you to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems and other IT-based project management software.
- Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development in the Construction sector.
