Customer Care and Sales Executive
Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth (some travel required)
Salary: 35,000 + potential sales/commission bonus
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care and Sales Executive to join a progressive, purpose-driven organisation in Dundalk. This is a varied and fast-paced role that would suit an energetic professional or recent graduate eager to build a career in sales, customer service, and account management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, supporting sales growth, and ensuring smooth order fulfilment from enquiry to delivery.
What does my day to day look like?
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Manage the customer database and achieve daily call and sales targets (40+ outbound calls per day).
- Accurately process orders received by phone, email, or website to ensure timely despatch.
- Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation where required.
- Liaise with warehouses for order despatch (manual handling certificate required).
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including cold calling and upselling new products.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and update customer details regularly.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to support wider business objectives.
- Monitor individual performance against KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement.
What experience is required?
- Previous experience in a fast-paced sales or customer service environment.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail with strong numerical and administrative abilities.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Odoo, Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work to deadlines.
- Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
- Manual handling certification (for warehouse support duties).
- Motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently or within a team.
