Key Criteria
- Must be undertaking a Bachelor’s degree and eligible for a 12-month placement year starting in 2026.
- Studying Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Data/Statistics or a related discipline.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is beneficial.
- Ability to analyse data, solve problems and interpret KPIs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines.
- Previous supply chain experience, or knowledge of German or Dutch, is beneficial but not essential.
- Able to work on-site in Daventry, Huddersfield or Darlington.
About the Role
As a Trade Compliance Analyst Placement Student, you will help ensure goods move smoothly across borders, support financial reporting, maintain compliance systems and contribute to projects focused on improving supply chain performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting financial reporting, tracking spend and monitoring project savings.
- Managing, improving and maintaining duty management and customs systems.
- Working with customs brokers and suppliers to support the movement of goods.
- Assisting with cross-functional supply chain and compliance projects.
- Contributing to internal audits and compliance checks.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of trade and supply chain data.
- Developing reporting capabilities for supply chain KPIs.
- Analysing KPIs to identify improvement actions and operational opportunities.
