Role Description
This is a full-time / part-time on-site role for Waiting Staff at Wild Spice Indian Restaurant in Gorey. The responsibilities include greeting and seating customers, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely and professional service. Waiting staff will also set up and clear tables, provide menu recommendations, handle customer inquiries, and maintain a clean and organized dining environment. Collaboration with kitchen staff and adherence to high standards of customer service are essential to ensure an excellent guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, including friendliness, attentiveness, and the ability to address customer needs effectively
- Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and kitchen staff
- Basic knowledge of food service practices, including handling orders and maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required
