Global Logistics Manager
12-Month Contract | Opportunity for Extension | Up to €90K DOE | Shanbally (Hybrid)
Our client, a global leader in advanced biopharmaceutical innovation, is seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager to join their Supply Chain team based in Shanbally, operating in a hybrid model.

The Opportunity
As Global Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of complex international material movements across clinical and commercial supply chains. From drug substance to finished goods, you will oversee shipments from order placement through to final delivery, partnering with global manufacturing, packaging, distribution, and third-party providers.
You will operate at the intersection of logistics, compliance, quality, and global trade — ensuring temperature-controlled, GDP-compliant transport while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead day-to-day global logistics planning and execution
- Manage intercompany shipments across contract manufacturers, packaging sites, distribution centres and customers
- Oversee temperature-controlled transport in line with GDP and cold chain requirements
- Ensure export/import compliance and accurate customs documentation
- Act as a key liaison between Global Supply Chain, External Operations, Quality, Finance, and 3PL partners
- Drive order-to-cash logistics activities and ERP transactions (SAP experience highly desirable)
- Support deviation management and change controls within QMS
- Develop and implement standardized transport practices, SOPs, and risk assessments
- Proactively track deliveries and maintain transparent planning schedules
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehousing
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field (or equivalent experience with relevant continued education)
- Strong experience in global transport planning and trade compliance
- Cold chain experience highly desirable
- SAP experience essential
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and influence stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally in a complex, matrix environment
- Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt highly desirable)
