As Global Logistics Manager, you will manage the international movement of clinical and commercial drug materials - from manufacturing through to final delivery - across a global network of partners.
This is a high-accountability position requiring strong operational oversight, regulatory awareness, and the ability to operate confidently within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will take ownership of day-to-day global logistics planning and execution, ensuring compliant and efficient product movement across multiple international locations.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Managing end-to-end logistics activities from order placement to delivery
- Coordinating temperature-controlled shipments across manufacturing, packaging and distribution partners
- Ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), cold chain standards and global trade regulations
- Partnering with Trade Compliance teams to maintain accurate customs documentation
- Executing transactions within SAP to support inventory and financial recognition
- Managing QMS records including deviations and change controls
- Developing and implementing best practices, SOPs and risk assessments
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations
- Building strong cross-functional relationships across Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and External Operations
ABOUT THE PERSON:
You understand that logistics within biotech is more than movement - it’s about precision, compliance and patient impact.
You will bring:
- A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in logistics or supply chain within a regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of cold chain, global transportation and export/import compliance
- Experience working with ERP systems
- The ability to influence across functions without direct authority
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong accountability
