Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Global Trade Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic 1X Logistics team. The Global Trade Compliance Analyst will support our global manufacturing and logistics operations, with a primary focus on North America, EMEA, and APAC trade activity while supporting cross-regional movement globally. This role combines hands-on operational execution with strategic program development. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in global trade regulations who can ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, optimize duty exposure, and partner cross-functionally with Logistics, Legal, Finance, and Operations to strengthen our global trade compliance framework. The Global Trade Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in protecting the company from regulatory risk while enabling efficient global trade operations.
You Will
- Oversee and manage import/export compliance activities across EMEA, APAC, North America, and other relevant global trade lanes.
- Ensure accurate HTS classifications and maintain classification database integrity.
- Support export control compliance, including EAR analysis and licensing determination.
- Conduct denied party screening oversight and ensure adherence to global restricted party regulations.
- Manage and evaluate customs broker performance and compliance accuracy.
- Oversee country of origin determinations and trade documentation requirements.
- Lead and support Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and validation processes.
- Manage and optimize FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) activities (as applicable).
- Oversee duty drawback program administration and opportunity identification.
- Support CTPAT implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify duty savings and trade optimization opportunities while ensuring compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal compliance audits.
- Develop and strengthen trade compliance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Monitor regulatory changes across relevant jurisdictions and implement required updates.
- Support government inquiries, audits, and regulatory communications.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure regulatory interpretations, policy alignment, and trade compliance.
- Provide trade compliance training to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for global trade compliance across the organization.
- Other Relevant Duties as Assigned.
Must Have
- 7+ years of progressive experience in global trade compliance within a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- Deep working knowledge of:
- U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- HTS classification methodology
- Free Trade Agreements (including qualification analysis)
- FTZ administration
- Duty drawback programs
- CTPAT compliance
- Denied party screening processes
- Global risk assessment and trade controls
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations impacting EMEA and APAC regions.
- Experience managing customs brokers and third-party compliance partners.
- Demonstrated ability to balance regulatory compliance with operational efficiency.
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) – strongly preferred.
- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) – highly preferred.
- Experience supporting multinational manufacturing operations
- Experience working cross-functionally with Legal teams on regulatory matters.
- Familiarity with ERP and/or Global Trade Management (GTM) systems.
- Experience leading Customs Border Protection (CBP) audits and validations – highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $110,000 - $130,000 + Equity
