This market-leading international business are looking to add a Customs and Import Manager to their high performing global distribution team, to take full responsibility for customs import operations, bonded warehousing processes, freight forwarding, VAT and duty payments and the business Duty Management System.

Experience required
- Proven experience in Customs Import operations and Freight Forwarding.
- Demonstrable experience managing duty payments, VAT, and bonded warehousing processes.
- Experience working within a regulated import/export environment across UK and EU jurisdictions preferred.
- Exposure to financial processes such as accruals, invoice matching, and audit preparation would be beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of UK and EU Customs regulations and awareness of upcoming legislative changes.
- AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) knowledge preferred.
- Strong Excel capability, including working with large data sets, reconciliations, and reporting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and liaise with external stakeholders including brokers and freight partners.
Head office based in Cambridgeshire , Hybrid working offered.
Salary circa £60 - 65k + bonus
