This role will support our VAT & Customs Partner, providing customs services to new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customs declarations and resolve any issues with clients to ensure that the declaration is submitted in a timely manner.
- Undertake commodity code checks on entries – reporting any errors to Manager.
- Complete LOEs and AMLRs as required.
- Undertake billing responsibilities as required.
- Maintain opportunities list in workbooks.
- Work out of hours, when required, to process urgent customs declarations.
- Carry out administration tasks to assist the partner as appropriate including scheduling and documenting regular team meetings.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Ability to use/learn customs software (AEB) and systems operated by HMRC as appropriate.
- Ability to key information quickly and accurately.
- You may from time to time be required to attend courses (internal and external) to aid you in the capacity to fulfil your role.
- Develop knowledge of CCH
- Develop knowledge of workbooks
