Role Description
The Customs Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mildenhall. The role involves managing customs brokerage processes, coordinating import and export operations, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting customs documentation, communicating with clients and customs authorities, and supporting all aspects of the import-export process to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Customs Brokerage to efficiently manage customs processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Import and Export procedures and regulations
- Skilled in Import-Export operations to manage international freight movements
- Effective Communication skills to liaise with clients, authorities, and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using relevant logistics and customs software
- Previous experience in a logistics or shipping environment is preferred
- Familiarity with international trade laws and documentation is advantageous
