Job Description
DP World are currently recruiting for a Logistics Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic Control Tower team in Limerick.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role that acts as the central point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across the supply chain. Working closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams, the Logistics Customer Service Representative will play a key role in supporting on-time delivery, resolving issues efficiently, and delivering a high standard of service excellence.
How You Will Contribute
- Deliver professional, responsive customer service by managing client inquiries, requests, and issues in a timely manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing clear updates on shipment status, delivery timelines, and potential delays.
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics, and warehousing to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- Coordinate with external carriers and partners to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and support on-time delivery performance.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and case resolutions using internal systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing overall customer service practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs) to meet performance and customer satisfaction targets.
- Support a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement in line with DP World’s values and Code of Conduct.
What You Will Bring
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role; experience within logistics or supply chain is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM or ticketing systems is desirable.
Working hours
This role operates on a rotational shift pattern (Monday to Friday):
Early shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Mid shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Late shift: 8:30am – 5:00pm
