Job Purpose:
AVP-Institutional & Global Trading is responsible for leveraging extensive experience to directly impact client success, operational efficiency, and market growth within the unit. This role demands meticulous execution of global trades, unwavering adherence to regulatory compliance, and active contribution to market research and strategic growth initiatives. Shall collaborate with senior team members to deliver exceptional client service, identify lucrative sales opportunities, and optimize ABIC's institutional and global trading offerings for achieving market leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- CME-3 is mandatory
- Professional certification such as (CMT, Tadawul Trader Certificate, etc.) is an advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Financial services industry with at least 3 years in capital markets
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Provide quality market execution services to institutional clients: strong and competent use of algo trading engine as well as fix connectivity order management tools.
- Manage Execution of Local Global Trades: Work collaboratively with senior team members to meticulously execute client trades across global markets, ensuring adherence to timeframes, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements
- Proactive Trade Monitoring & Resolution: Continuously monitor trade execution status, proactively identify any potential discrepancies or delays, and promptly communicate with clients or escalate concerns as needed.
- Tailored Client Communication & Support: Collaborate with colleagues to develop personalized communication strategies for various client segments, ensuring timely updates, clear trade confirmations, and responsive addressal of inquiries related to global trade execution
- Upholding Regulatory Standards: Adhere to all relevant securities regulations and internal compliance policies governing global trade execution to safeguard client interests and mitigate operational risks.
- Maintain Accurate Trade Records: Meticulously maintain accurate and complete records of all trade activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify & Mitigate Trade Execution Risks: Proactively identify potential risks associated with global trade execution and communicate them to senior associates for risk management strategies.
- Optimize Trade Workflows: Collaborate with colleagues across departments (e.g., IT, Operations) to continuously identify and implement improvements in global trade workflows, promoting efficiency and minimizing errors.
- Conduct institutional client coverage: monitor local and global capital markets, identifying trends, Evaluate news and other market related matters that help clients analyze and take their correct course of action
- Prepare Market Insights & Competitor Analysis: Develop market summaries and competitor analysis reports focusing on global trading trends, highlighting strengths and weaknesses of competitors to inform strategic decision-making.
- Support Client Acquisition Strategies: Assist the VP in identifying potential new clients for institutional trading services, and contribute to the development of tailored client acquisition initiatives.
- Present Strategic Recommendations: Present research findings and strategic recommendations to senior associates and the VP, fostering data-driven decision-making for growth within the global trading segment.
- Develop Sales & Marketing Materials: Collaborate with sales teams to develop content (e.g., presentations, brochures) highlighting the benefits and functionalities of ABIC's trading solutions for potential clients.
- Support Client Sales Calls: Provide technical expertise and market insights during client sales calls, addressing client queries and effectively communicating the value proposition of ABIC's trading solutions.
- Identify Sales Opportunities: Through market research and client interactions, co-identify potential sales opportunities for trading services, and support further engagement with prospective clients.
- Data Analysis for Sales Optimization: Assist in analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for optimizing future global trading sales efforts.
