Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Import Export Specialist located in Irvine, CA. The Import Export Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the import and export of network switches and related manufacturing components, ensuring compliance with the U.S. and international trade regulations and policies. Day-to-day tasks include handling customs brokerage, preparing and reviewing necessary documentation, facilitating international shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves liaising with vendors, government agencies, and logistics providers to streamline trade processes and resolve any compliance issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of import/export or trade compliance experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, Incoterms, and export controls
- Experience with electronics or network hardware strongly preferred
- Experience working at a customs brokerage or import/export operations is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in International Trade, including managing trade agreements and global transactions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as Customs Compliance Specialist (CCS) or similar are a plus
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and a fast-paced environment

Salary Range
- 65,000 – 76,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
