Your role

As a Mendix Developer in team MOAS, you’ll work on a mission-critical platform at the heart of our international logistics. MOAS stands for ‘Mother of All Scans’ and includes eight Mendix apps that support all scanning and customs processes for incoming parcels. You’ll develop and maintain these apps, ensure stable integrations with external systems (like customs and air freight partners), and actively contribute to new features and performance improvements.

You’ll follow our IT standards, help shape the underlying architecture, and challenge the business when better solutions are possible. Together with your team, you’ll take the MOAS platform to the next level – and grow yourself into a lead developer if that’s your ambition.

Your colleagues

You’ll join team MOAS, a close-knit and ambitious team within the Cross Border Solutions (CBS) department. The team includes four developers, a test analist, a product owner and a Solution Consultant. Some of your colleagues work from Portugal. Together they work SCRUM The atmosphere is open and informal: there’s room for initiative, collaboration is key, and we make time for fun – with drinks and team outings.

Salary between €4,091.69 and €5.637 gross per month at 37 hours per week. But 32 hours is possible too!

Hybrid working is encouraged and you’ll have flexible working hours. After all, your work-life balance matters to us. Employees who work from home more than two days a week get an allowance of €45 net per month.

8% vacation pay and 25 vacation days on a full-time contract.

Travel allowance for commuting from 6 km each way up to a maximum of 70 km each way.

What you bring to the job

You’re solution-oriented, a strong communicator and able to keep an overview in complex processes. You easily connect with colleagues from both business and IT, and you’re not afraid to make decisions. With your drive and precision, you’ll make a real impact in team MOAS.

You also have the following qualities:

You have a higher vocational or university degree.

You’re certified at Mendix Advanced level or have proven experience.

You have 2+ years of experience in Mendix development or a similar IT role.

You know how to keep requirements sharp and convince stakeholders.

Affinity with automated testing (like MTA) is a plus.

You have a good command of English.
