Summer Internship Program Application Process:
- Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position.
- Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application.
- Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis.

Role Responsibilities
Introductory Classification: Learn and apply foundational Harmonized System (HS) code classification principles to simpler, everyday products (e.g., vinyl records, candles, home goods) under the guidance of senior compliance analysts.
Export Documentation Support: Review and audit standard export documentation—such as commercial invoices and packing lists—to ensure data accuracy and completeness prior to shipment.
Data Verification & Scrubbing: Assist in cross-referencing product master data against customs requirements to flag missing tariff codes, country of origin details, or description gaps.
Trade Data Analytics & Reporting: Extract and organize global trade data using Excel or BI tools to help track department metrics, volume trends, and compliance reporting.
Regulatory Tracking & Research: Monitor updates from customs authorities regarding tariff shifts, regulatory changes, and international trade news, presenting key summaries to the team.
Role Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
Foundational Trade Knowledge: Basic familiarity with core international trade concepts, such as Incoterms, customs entry processes, or import/export regulations.
Data Analytics Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data filtering); exposure to Power BI, SQL, or Tableau is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to audit complex documents and maintain high data accuracy.
Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills needed to collaborate effectively across cross-functional internal teams and third-party logistics partners.
Problem-Solving & Initiative: A proactive mindset with the curiosity to research regulatory topics, ask clarifying questions, and solve unstructured problems independently.
