I am a detail-driven and results-oriented Customs Compliance and Supply Chain Professional with extensive experience in customs operations, regulatory compliance and import/export control. I specialise in ensuring full adherence to HMRC requirements, EU and UK customs regulations, and global trade compliance standards, supporting the smooth and compliant flow of goods across complex supply chains.

With a strong background in dangerous goods, customs classification, valuation, duty management and special procedures – including customs warehousing, Freeports and inward processing, I bring both strategic insight and hands-on operational capability. I have led the development and implementation of robust customs processes, risk-mitigation strategies, duty-saving initiatives, and compliance policies that supports changing regulatory requirements.

My experience includes delivering Brexit readiness programmes across UK, EU and Northern Ireland trade corridors, ensuring business continuity during regulatory changes. I also have deep knowledge of emerging regulatory frameworks such as EUDR, GPSR and CBAM, along with proven experience conducting audits, analysing MSS data, managing customs documentation, and liaising effectively with HMRC, agents, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Recognised as a subject matter expert, I have contributed to government consultations and industry strategy papers, supported HMRC in shaping customs training materials, delivered training and public webinars for CIOE&IT and DBT, and authored articles for the CIOE&IT, helping businesses navigate the complexities of international trade compliance.
