I have extensive experience in customs compliance; tariff classification; customs valuation; origin determination and; customs broker management across global supply chains. In my current role, I work closely with internal stakeholders, logistics providers and customs brokers to ensure compliance, mitigate risk and support efficient international trade operations. I have a proven ability to interpret complex regulations, improve processes and provide practical guidance to business teams across multiple global regions.

About

After starting a new role as a Customs Analyst in 2021, I hit my initial goal of achieving promotion into a Senior role in 2023. I accomplished this by growing within my previous role and expanding my knowledge and skillset. This was aided by the successful completion of the Customs Competency and Advanced Customs Practitioner level certificates, awarded by CILT UK. Looking ahead, I plan to broaden my expertise beyond this function and progress my career further into a Lead role. This should include expanding my leadership responsibilities going forward into a managerial role, within the next 3-5 years.
