【Senior Legal Counsel - Data & Privacy 】
This is a senior legal counsel role with the following requirements:
• Strong understanding of privacy frameworks and experience implementing the same
• Partner closely with business to assess potential data, privacy and security risks and regulatory controls and governance for products and technologies
• Support the business to build trustworthy, privacy-first products and services
• Advise on the management and use of data, including privacy matters related to Product, Marketing, Advertising, and data governance
• Provide subject matter expert advice in connection with regulatory investigations, individual complaints and enquiries
• Provide subject matter expert advice across all aspects of global privacy law and regulation, including on highly regulated, sensitive data
• Structure, draft, review, and negotiate data protection terms in a variety of commercial agreements
The candidate should have:
• Law degree with 5+ years of legal practice, including in-house experience
• strong substantive knowledge of applied privacy laws
• experience with both US and EU privacy laws, regulations, and standards
• technology background or experience strongly preferred
• solid project management skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• experience working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
【Senior Legal Counsel - Product Compliance, Trade Compliance】
This is a senior legal counsel role with the following requirements:
• Work with general counsel to maintain a sanction screening protocol and policy for Temu platform
• Develop and maintain a product compliance system to screen merchandize on Temu platform
• Develop and maintain trust & safety policies
• Monitor legal and policy development and advise trust & safety team
• Identify, research, and evaluate alternative risk factors regarding business decisions and overall operations
• Apply effective risk management strategies and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
• Conduct all assignments with integrity and a high degree of responsibility
The candidate should:
• have law degree with 7+ years of legal practice, including in-house experience
• have deep understanding of product compliance policies of various marketplaces and payment institutes
• have deep understanding of trade compliance rules and policies
• have deep understanding of UK/EU laws and customs regulations on restricted products
• have proven track record of scaling operations in a fast-paced, dynamic and global environment
• be detail-oriented with executive maturity, business acumen, and the ability to influence and communicate within all levels of the organization- be entrepreneurial and proactive

Requirements:

【Senior Legal Counsel - Litigation 】
This is a senior legal counsel role with the following requirements:
• Work with general counsel to set up a strong UK&EU IP/litigation team
• Advise on the platform rules and procedures relating to copyright and trademark infringement and protection
• Handle copyright and trademark-related disputes with rights holders, sellers
• Develop and implement IP protection and enforcement strategy for the platform against infringements by others
• Apply effective risk management strategies and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
• Conduct all assignments with integrity and a high degree of responsibility
The candidate should:
• have law degree with 5+ years of legal practice, including in-house experience
• have trademark/copyright litigation experience
• preferably have internet and technology experience
• be entrepreneurial and proactive
• be able to work independently
