Job Summary
A highly experienced Contracts/Sub-Contracts Manager with a robust background in procurement, purchasing, expediting, forwarding, and customs formalities. Demonstrates exceptional skills in contract negotiation, vendor management, and compliance with international trade regulations. Proven track record of managing complex projects and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and administration of contracts and sub-contracts. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Procurement and Purchasing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials and services. Manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Expediting: Monitor and expedite the delivery of materials and equipment to ensure project timelines are met. Resolve any delays or issues that arise.
- Forwarding and Logistics: Coordinate the transportation and logistics of materials, including customs clearance and documentation. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and procurement activities. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets for procurement and contracts. Ensure cost control and financial efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement and contract professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Must have a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum of 5 years in the GCC region.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position for international Oil and Gas projects.
