About the Company - Our client, a global freight forwarding company with operations across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., is seeking a highly organised and experienced Ocean Freight Operations & Customer Service Executive to join their team in either Dublin or Youghal, Co. Cork. This is a newly created role due to business growth.
About the Role - Exports: Updating OPS / Sailing Schedules. Sending booking confirmations to hauliers and customers. Submitting VGM and shipping instructions. Sending details to shipping lines and tracking shipments. Preparing SAD customs documents. Managing Bill of Lading documentation: telex release, Seaway B/L, original approvals. Maintaining excellent relationships with customers, hauliers, and shipping lines. Imports: Updating OPS / Sailing Schedules and booking updates to customers. Completing import documentation including CHED P. Coordinating customs clearance and preparing SAD documents. Liaising with the Department of Agriculture for product clearance. Arranging product deliveries and transport logistics.
Responsibilities

Qualifications - Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping and logistics (ocean freight).
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
- Applicants must be currently based in Ireland (international candidates not considered).

Pay range and compensation package - Competitive salary (€40–45K DOE). Company pension scheme. Monday–Friday working hours. Stable, full-time permanent position.
