Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Portfolio Manager with 3–7 years of experience in managing distressed equity portfolios. The ideal candidate will have approximately 4 years of hands-on experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of multi-industry investments and a proven ability to navigate complex financial situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a diversified portfolio of distressed equity assets across various industries, ensuring alignment with investment strategies and risk profiles.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation of distressed assets to identify investment opportunities and risks.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to distressed equity markets, including turnaround and restructuring plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, and operational teams to navigate bankruptcy processes, restructuring, and other special situations.
- Client Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment strategies to stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–7 years in portfolio management with a focus on distressed equity investments; multi-industry experience is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certification preferred.Venture Capital Careers
- Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and a deep understanding of distressed markets and restructuring processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies clearly.
