We are looking for a seasoned and highly motivated Vice President, Macro Trade Support to join our dynamic support team for the Fixed Income and Commodities trading desks. This strategic role is crucial in overseeing the complete trade support lifecycle, optimizing processes, and managing a dedicated team of trade support analysts. As a senior member of the team, you will not only play a pivotal role in operational excellence but also serve as a mentor to junior colleagues, fostering their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex initiatives, including spearheading change management for new flows and products within the trading environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for trading management regarding trade capture, P&L, and operational risk topics, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of issues.
- Supervise and validate trade bookings, amendments, and exception handling to guarantee the timely and accurate representation of trading books.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in collaboration with technology support teams to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with trading, sales, risk, compliance, and operations teams to resolve complex issues and support new business initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks among team members, and contribute to internal audits and regulatory deliverables.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, instilling a culture of ownership, precision, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of six years of experience in front-office trade support or middle office within global markets, with a strong emphasis on Fixed Income and/or Commodities.
- Proven track record in team leadership roles, with the ability to inspire and guide junior team members.
- In-depth understanding of Fixed Income and Commodities products and their associated trade flows.
- Solid knowledge of P&L, risk management, and operational controls.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Summit and Murex systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the entire front-to-back chain.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- SIE and Series 99 certifications are preferred.

The salary range for this position will be between $120,00 - $145,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
