General Job Objective
Ensure compliance with all local and international laws and regulations related to the import and export of goods. Guarantee full adherence to the policies, procedures, and laws governing import and export activities in space-related operations, including international agreements and laws on import and export controls. This includes minimizing the risks associated with violations of international regulations and promoting transparency and efficiency in space-related operations.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor local and international laws and regulations related to import and export operations, such as trade agreements and international sanctions regulations.
- Ensure the implementation of internal policies aligned with legal and regulatory import/export control frameworks.
- Develop and implement internal controls to minimize import/export-related risks.
- Collaborate with relevant government entities and federal and local customs authorities.
- Apply mechanisms for licenses and permits related to import and export operations.
- Train employees on policies and procedures related to import/export controls.
- Promote information security and physical security practices to protect data subject to import/export regulations.
- Monitor customs operations and enhance direct communication with border security authorities.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline
- Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 5–9 years
