Your new role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Road Freight Coordinator to join their team in Limerick. This full-time, office-based position is ideal for individuals with logistics experience who want to further their career in this sector.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Efficiently plan and coordinate daily European road freight shipments
- Maintain professional communication with clients, haulier's, and international partners
- Handle transport bookings, documentation, and customs compliance
- Resolve delivery or transit issues promptly and effectively
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and regular updates in freight systems
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high service standards
What you'll need to succeed
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding
- Proficient in communication, organisation, and multitasking
- Competency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with freight systems is advantageous
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a team-oriented approach
- Knowledge of European transport routes and regulations (desirable)
- Fluency in English.
