About the Role
ABC Cargo & Courier is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Manager to lead and streamline our end-to-end logistics operations across international and domestic networks. This role is pivotal to ensuring efficiency, compliance, and on-time delivery performance while supporting our ongoing expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals to drive operational excellence.
• Operations Management
Oversee and optimise transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory operations across all branches.
• Vendor & Partner Management
Manage third-party logistics relationships (freight forwarders, shipping companies) and negotiate contracts and SLAs to ensure cost-effective service
• Cost & Efficiency Optimization
Analyse logistics KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve delivery speed.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Control
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, warehouse, sales) to maintain accurate inventory and seamless stock movement
• Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure logistics processes comply with customs regulations, international trade laws, and safety standards.
• Team Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, and last-mile delivery teams.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
5–8 years of experience in logistics, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Hands-on expertise in international & domestic logistics operations
Proficient in systems like ERP, WMS, and TMS (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making capabilities
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
