The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the logistics operations. This includes overseeing the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of materials, to support operations.
Inventory Tracking
- Maintain accurate inventory records including goods transferred between Company and respective clients/suppliers.
Monitoring and Coordination
- Monitoring and tracking of all shipments. Coordinate with suppliers’ freight companies, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Compliance
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with local and international regulations.
Documentation
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for shipments, including customs clearance. Shipping documentations are expected to be kept in clear records ensuring its readiness for audit or compliance reviews.
- Documentation on budgeting and VAT/Customs Duty spending must be tracked and recorded with full documentation
Shipping and Clearance
- Manage shipping logistics, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely delivery. Handle customs clearance processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
Problem Solving
- Address and resolve any issues related to logistics and supply chain disruptions.
- Reporting:
- Generate monthly reports on logistics performance and suggest improvements.

- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations.

Minimum Work Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the defence sector.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field or equivalent years of experience in Logistics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with defence logistics and supply chain management.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CILT).
