Job Overview:
We are seeking a Trade/Business Analyst to support the operations, compliance, and governance of an Alternative Trading System (ATS) for a leading financial services institution. This role involves producing and reconciling performance metrics, supporting compliance obligations, and assisting Supervisors with Subscriber and Business Unit matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic trading systems and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with technology teams to document and implement new or enhanced ATS functionality.
- Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and supervisory procedures.
- Collaborate with compliance, operations, and external partners to ensure accurate implementation of ATS processes.
- Assist with supervisory, compliance, surveillance, and reporting responsibilities.
- Support activities related to Subscribers and internal business units using the ATS.
- Produce governance documentation and reconcile performance metrics.
- Ensure alignment with SEC Rule 304 of Regulation ATS and manage Form ATS-N filings.
- Maintain the confidentiality and protection of sensitive trading data.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. regulatory environment surrounding alternative trading systems and electronic equity trading.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Team-oriented with a client-service mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Active or prior FINRA registrations (e.g., Series 7, 55, 63).
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and tools like JIRA.
- General understanding of financial technology and trading infrastructure.
