What You´ll Do
- Support Mergers, Acquisition and Divestiture Activities as required.
- Oversee monthly post-entry audits on US and Canadian imports to identify process deficiencies.
- Implements improvements in critical areas of trade in terms of documentation, valuation, COO, duty recovery and HS classification.
- Leads engagement with I/T and other resources within the business to define, design and develop solutions on trade compliance matters to mitigate risks.
- Assists with broker service failures and implements solutions.
- Develop and deliver training pertaining to import regulations at all levels throughout the business
- Monitor regulatory changes related to import compliance and communicate companywide as appropriate.
- Oversee Henkel’s CTPAT Supply Chain Security Program.
- Support all other activities within the Global Trade Department as required
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, and/or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of relevant trade and customs management experience w/focus on US & Canada trade regulations.
- Strong knowledge and experience with HTS classification and FTA requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of import Trade Compliance procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize as necessary.
- Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options.
- Strong SAP/SAP GTS knowledge and an interest in digital developments in Trade Compliance.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Proven ability to analyze problems, assess options and propose solutions & proven ability to lead significant improvement projects.
- Excellent communication skills for all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects.
- Detail oriented individual who takes ownership of projects.
- Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Access).
- Customs Broker License a plus.
- Proven ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.

The salary for this role is $135,000.00 - $160,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
