Sitting in the Group Compliance and Technology Risk office, the Export Controls & Sanctions Lawyer will ensure the organization remains at the forefront of regulatory adherence within the global AI and cloud computing space.
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating complex compliance and technology-related contracts, conduct investigations, and managing export license applications. You will provide critical legal counsel on a broad range of matters, including AI export control regulations, international sanctions, data protection, and responsible AI frameworks.
To considered you will be 7 PQE + US qualified lawyer with excellent understanding of US AI export control regulations (EAR, ITAR), international sanctions, and trade control laws, with strong knowledge of US, English, ADGM, and UAE legal frameworks.
