Location: Lusk, Co. Dublin
Salary: €45,000 per annum + benefits
Shift Pattern: 7pm - 7am (4 on / 4 off)

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Transport Operations Specialists to join a busy and fast-paced transport operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and thrives in a live operations environment. You will play a key part in managing and adjusting overnight transport activities, while ensuring smooth handovers to the daytime team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate overnight transport operations across drivers, deliveries, planning, and incident management. 
- Organise the collection and shipping of trailers to and from Dublin Port. 
- Monitor real-time deliveries, providing instructions and support to drivers to maintain excellent service standards. 
- Manage paperwork and customs clearance requirements accurately. 
- Allocate drivers to unaccompanied trailer arrivals and ensure timely dispatch from Dublin Port. 
- Maintain strong communication with warehouse teams as trailers are prepared for dispatch. 
- Provide comprehensive operational handovers to the daytime team. 
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the transport industry. 
- Strong customer service background (phone & email). 
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload. 
- High attention to detail and accuracy. 
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and drivers. 
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. 
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a dynamic environment. 
Desired Skills and Experience
Transport industry experience (minimum 2 years)
Strong organisational skills - able to prioritise under pressure
Attention to detail - ensuring paperwork and customs processes are accurate
Customer service skills - confident on phone & email with drivers and colleagues
Problem-solving ability - adapting quickly to unexpected changes in live operations
Communication skills - clear and professional at all levels
