The Role
We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented
Customs Clerk to join our Bristol team. You'll play a key role in ensuring that all import and export documentation is processed accurately and in compliance with HMRC and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and checking customs documentation for imports and exports
- Liaising with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Maintaining compliance with UK customs legislation and international trade regulations
- Resolving queries quickly and effectively
- Supporting the wider operations team when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a customs or freight forwarding role (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Knowledge of customs procedures (C88, CDS, CHIEF) desirable
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
