Our client, a global aerospace manufacturing company, has engaged us to identify an International Trade Manager to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance initiatives across the organization
- Lead audits, manage restricted party screening, and monitor global trade policies
- Oversee international logistics (ocean, air, ground), freight forwarding, and customs brokerage
- Negotiate contracts with carriers, brokers, and service providers to optimize cost and timelines
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance for all imports and exports
- Provide guidance on INCOTERMS, Free Trade Agreements, and customs valuation processes
- Support strategic initiatives in budget planning, compliance training, and risk mitigation
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field
- 5+ years of global trade and customs compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and global trade policies
- Skilled in tariff classification, INCOTERMS, USMCA, and export controls
- Proficiency with logistics/trade compliance software and tools
- Preferred: CCS certification or Customs Broker License
- Background in manufacturing (automotive or aerospace strongly preferred)
