 Location: UAE (RAK / Dubai, with occasional travel between offices)
 Salary Range: AED 8,000 – 12,000 (depending on experience)

Role Overview
This dual-role position is responsible for managing the company’s accounting functions and overseeing administrative operations. The role requires strong financial management capabilities, hands-on VAT and corporate tax compliance knowledge, and the ability to support the day-to-day administration of the office. It is well-suited for professionals with experience in multi-currency, multi-entity environments who can balance technical accounting with organizational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Management
- Maintain accurate books for the UAE entity and oversee consolidation of African subsidiaries.
- Record purchases, sales, and cost of goods sold for import/export shipments.
- Manage accounts receivable/payable, supplier payments, customer invoicing, and finance charges.
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and management reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, trade finance lines, intercompany transactions, and customs charges.
- Ensure timely VAT & Corporate Tax filings and maintain ESR and statutory registers.
- Lead annual budgeting and provide variance analysis to management.
- Coordinate internal/external audits and implement audit recommendations.
Administration Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations including procurement, vendor relations, and facilities.
- Manage office budgets, travel arrangements, supplies, and event coordination.
- Implement administrative policies to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support the administration team, ensuring effective office processes.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
- Oversee risk management activities including insurance, data security, and continuity planning.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulators.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as point of contact for financial and administrative matters.
- Provide insights on margins, cost control, and financial planning.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and board stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA).
- 3–5 years’ experience in accounting and administration in the UAE.
- Proven experience in trading/import-export, trade finance, and multi-currency reporting.
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP required; knowledge of QuickBooks, Zoho, or Xero an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax compliance.

Compensation
AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month, depending on experience.
 The role is open to part-qualified or newly qualified accountants seeking exposure to structured finance, logistics, and trading. Fully qualified accountants may also apply on a part-time/retainer basis.
