Our client, a leading construction fit-out specialist in Ras Al Khaimah, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee logistics and material movement for a prestigious project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating and managing all logistics operations related to the shipment, delivery, and internal movement of stone and other materials.
- Your role will also include handling the formal handover of materials to various contractors on site, ensuring all required sign-offs and compliance documentation are properly completed and archived.
- You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized records, circulating regular logistics and handover reports to all relevant stakeholders.
- You will coordinate with contractors and suppliers in addressing any damages or replacement needs, overseeing inventory, and managing supplier relationships both in the UAE and internationally.
- You will work closely with the project team
Requirements:
- Considerable experience in logistics coordination within the construction or fit-out industry.
- Deep understanding of supply chain management, shipping, and customs regulations in the UAE.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
