Export Controls & Sanctions Associate – Washington, DC (Hybrid)
A top international trade practice in Washington, DC seeks an associate with 3–5 years of experience in U.S. export controls and economic sanctions to join its Chambers-ranked regulatory compliance team. This is a hybrid role with top-of-market compensation.
What you’ll do:
- Advise clients on complex regulatory matters involving the U.S. Departments of State, Treasury, and Commerce.
- Navigate ITAR, EAR, and OFAC compliance issues across a range of industries.
- Support licensing, enforcement, internal investigations, and compliance program development.
Your background:
- JD + admitted and in good standing in the District of Columbia.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in U.S. export controls and economic sanctions.
- Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, OFAC
